In terms of audio, the Philips OLED908 series features a 3.1CH sound system by Bowers & Wilkins delivering 80W of sound output. It features six front-facing speakers each with an 8.5W sound output and a rear-facing subwoofer with four passive radiators amounting to a 30W sound output. The speaker array is covered by a Kvadrat cloth. The series is Dolby Atmos certified and supports DTS Play-Fi. It is also IMAX Enhanced certified.
Regarding processing power, the 2023 Philips OLED908 is powered by a P5 AI Perfect Picture Engine Gen 7 based on the MediaTek Pentronic 1000 chipset. It enables the TVs from this series to support 4K at 120 Hz, VRR with AMD FreeSync Premium and NVIDIA G-Sync certification, Auto Game Mode, ALLM, Micro Dimming Perfect, etc. The new Gen 7 processor features super-resolution technology for improving sharpness and finer details, built-in XYZ light sensors for a more accurate ambient light measurement and real-time picture adjustment (brightness, gamma, color).
This year’s OLED TVs by Philips arrive with a new remote control that has a USB Type-C port and is rechargeable. Новшества OLED телевизоров Philips 2023
Все OLED TV 2023 года от Philips построены на модернизированной SoC MediaTek Pentonic 1000, которая даст потребителям ряд преимуществ, включая работу с кодеком AV1 и улучшенную производительность в приложениях. "Народная" серия OLED708 будет запущена позже в этом году в качестве преемника текущего OLED707. Использованы стандартные WOLED панели с диагональю 48, 55 и 65 дюймов. Дизайн лишен премиальных акцентов, но в остальном модель не сильно проигрывает старшим линейкам. Интегрированное звуковое решение немного меньшего размера и мощности, но также обрабатывает Dolby Atmos и умеет перенаправлять его на совместимый саундбар или AV-ресивер через eARC.
